Carol Tam
Dr Carol Tam graduated from the National University of Singapore Dental School with a Bachelor in Dental Surgery in 2000.
Dr Tam has practised dental surgery in both Singapore and Hong Kong for over 20 years. Dr Tam prioritises patient comfort with a warm demeanour and excellent clinical skillset, as reflected by her meticulous attention to detail and effective dentist-patient communication.
Dr Tam has experience serving a diverse patient group, including senior corporate executives, A-List media and sports personalities, and their respective family members. She practises extensive dental treatments and has a keen interest in root canal treatment, cosmetic dentistry (veneers, crowns, Invisalign etc.) and paediatric dental care.
She has volunteered as a pro-bono dentist at the Po Leung Kuk Residential Child Care Service (in Hong Kong), providing expert dental treatment to underprivileged and orphaned children.
Dr Tam enjoys embracing the latest dental trends outside the clinic and is committed to lifelong learning. She enjoys spending precious time with her family and always keep a healthy work-life balance.
Pauline Shih Jia Lee
Dr Pauline Lee graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2014 and worked in the public healthcare sector before pursuing her postgraduate studies at the University of British Columbia in Canada. She was selected as chief resident in the final year, and completed her three-year specialty training in paediatric dentistry in 2020. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in Pediatric Dentistry, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentists.
Dr Lee has well-rounded experience in treating children, including sedation and GA cases, special needs and medically compromised patients, as well as interceptive orthodontics and trauma. She takes pride in providing a positive and non-judgmental environment where every child can achieve a beautiful and healthy smile.
Dr Lee speaks English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
Dr Loo Sun Din
Dr Loo Sun Din is a Specialist in Jaw and Face Surgery.
He first qualified from the National University of Singapore in 2005 before being awarded a scholarship to pursue post-graduate specialist training in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery from the University of Hong Kong, where he developed a discerning interest in facial recontouring, complex jaw and face surgery and dental implant rehabilitation.
Dr Loo dedicated eleven years of his career to public service at the busiest surgical units in Hong Kong and Singapore, holding clinical positions in Queen Mary Hospital (HKG), Prince Philip Dental Hospital (HKG), Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (SGP) and Tan Tock Seng Hospital (SGP).
Currently, he maintains his role as Visiting Consultant to several public and private hospitals in Singapore.
Embracing sharing and exchange of knowledge, Dr Loo is a teaching faculty in local and overseas surgical courses in corrective jaw & facial surgeries and Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSAS).
He is a member of Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Osteosynthesefragen (AOCMF) and the International Society of Head and Neck Trauma (iSHANT). He also co-wrote a chapter in dental implants for surgery textbook in his spare time.
Thushala Ubaya
Dr Thushala Ubaya qualified in dentistry with honours in 2000 in London and obtained her Membership in Orthodontics with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and a Masters of Science in Orthodontics at the University of Glasgow. She then undertook further consultant senior orthodontic training at King’s College Hospital in London to obtain her Fellowship in Orthodontics in 2011 and is currently a Fellow of Dental Surgery in Orthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Dr Ubaya has worked as an NHS Consultant Orthodontist at the Royal London Dental Hospital and a Clinical Lecturer at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary, University of London. She was also the Lead NHS Consultant Orthodontist and Head of the Orthodontic department at Queen’s Hospital, Romford, Essex, for five years. In addition to her hospital roles, she worked part-time in private practice in London for six years.
Dr Ubaya is passionate about managing children and adults with dentofacial problems, including micro and macro smile aesthetics, dental health concerns, orthodontics, digital orthodontics, and managing teenagers and adults with complex jaw and teeth problems requiring orthodontics in conjunction with corrective jaw surgery.
Dr Ubaya offers all types of orthodontic treatments, including contemporary orthodontic appliances such as tooth-coloured white cosmetic fixed braces and clear aligners. Her passion is to deliver a positive body image experience with orthodontics.
Working together with the patient to produce a beautiful, healthy smile and a satisfied patient with a positive overall experience has been the cornerstone of her practice and the ethos with which she approaches the management of all her patients. Dr Ubaya is friendly, approachable and enthusiastic about providing an enjoyable dental experience. She is happy to work through any questions or concerns you may have before tailoring the treatment unique to each individual’s needs.
Carean Lim She Min
Carean graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic with a diploma in Oral Health Therapy, in 2011, on a Health Promotion Board Sponsorship. Carean was attached to the Health Promotion Board from 2016-2021 and has worked extensively with schools and pre schools as part of their School Dental Service. Other than providing oral care, she has also been actively involved in HPBs Oral health education programs.
Carean has a passion for dentistry and strives to work alongside her patients in a collaborative effort to help achieve not only a healthy, confident smile, but sustainable overall health.
